Our company has a young and ambitious team whose main goal is the successful realization of the company mission and strategy for development. The combination of the experience of the senior specialists and the vigour and innovative thinking of our younger colleagues is a great advantage in the heightened competitive environment over the years.

The introduced quality management system helps the strict control at the input point, processing and packaging of the raw materials used. In the years, the main rule for not allowing a compromise in the quality has proven its rightness and expedience. The loyalty to our mark is growing, which is also indicative of the good market positions. In the years we have built partnerships with the best producers in the country and from all over the world, as our most important aim has always been the support for the Bulgarian producers in the difficult competitive environment.

Since the very start of our business in 1996, and the creation of the IZZI mark, we have developed along with our partners being all international and local chains on the Bulgarian market – Metro, Billa, Piccadilly, Fantastico, СВА. With the Kaufland’s entering the Bulgarian market, we started a successful business partnership – it happened in the beginning of 2005. The same way other international companies operating on the national market placed their trust in us – Maxima, Hit, Penny and Lidl.

Since our creation, we have developed together with our distributors – Sirius, Fiore, Clio Commerce, Elma, Dilyanka, Ara Retail, D&D Commerceand many other long-term partners, which we have been growing over the years.

In the years, IZZI has been developing with the growing needs of our clients. In 2005, we started a project for the product group of muesli, oatmeal and rice cakes. Now we have leading market positions in the group and high level of satisfaction of the end client. A foreign trade department was created in 2006, through which we enriched the taste of the Bulgarian consumer, introducing different types of pulses and rice, being new for the Bulgarian consumer at that time.  We achieved expansion on the territory of the whole country and made our first successful steps abroad -Romania,Hungary,LatviaandGreece. From the beginning of 2012, we have a new warehouse base, complying with all normative requirements, having all the necessary licences and permits. Our modern technology of processing and packaging has optimised our activity thus creating a product at the necessary high quality – in terms of raw materials, package and vision.

Global Food Company Ltd. is one of the still small number of firms in Bulgaria, implemented and functioning ERP system (management software for resource planning). ERP covers functional information needs of the company with all the advantages of a process-oriented approach. The combination of both gives us not only an overview of corporate resources, but also on processes in the company at any time. Highlights of the system based on modules: production, warehousing, accounting, finance, marketing and sales.  This simplifies management  and enables us to monitor, control  and manipulating  the company without a problem.

The whole team of “Global Food Company” is specially trained to work with the ERP system so that it is able to think about the whole enterprise and all the various processes it as a harmonious whole. We have confidence and self esteem southward to overcome the problems associated with the organization, monitoring, forecasting, planning and business management.

•  The investment programme of the company for the next 3 years includes:

•  Development of domestic production for agricultural production of raw   materials;

•  Modernization of the design of the package;

•  Investments in people to increase skills, motivation and success of staff;

•  Investments for the purpose of decreasing of the human factor and increasing the quality of the finished product;

•  Advertising campaign among at the increasing of the popularity of the marks among the end user;

•  Starting production of bioproducts;

•  Increases in market share;

•  Increases in exports

 In the near future we will concentrate our efforts on design and development of domestic production for agricultural production materials that can be profitably grown in Bulgaria (according to weather conditions). Inspired by the desire for a greener, cleaner way of life, we decided to opt for the creation of an entirely new range of organic products with which to convey our motivation to every Bulgarian family. Organic products are becoming more popular in Europe. Interest in them is increasing every day and we want to become part of a group of producers and traders who believed in the future and success of organic foods.

Along with the development of our new ideas, we will not stop in an effort to suffice the needs of the end user. Therefore envisage investment program plans to reduce the human factor and the quality of the finished product, advertising campaign aimed at increasing brand recognition, updating the design of the package. All these targets are a priority for the staff of the Global Food Company in order to increase market share, increase exports and knowledge and satisfaction with the quality of products with brands IZZI, Clio and Sorte.

About the Owner

Since July 2012, the majority owner of “Global Food Company” Ltd is Damyan Ivanov. First steps in the food industry he makes it  in 2001, in 2011 he directed his attention mainly to the segment associated with the purchase, packaging and marketing of pulses and cereals.

Investing in different sectors of the economy, which is one of the charts a Mr. Ivanov help minimize the risk of negative effects of the market environment and increases business efficiency. Segments, the main object of its investments are:

• HR sector – international mediation and cooperation in finding work abroad;

• Consulting and international mediation;

• Tour operator services;

• Manufacturing and wholesale trade of food and agricultural products;

• Production and packaging of retail food products. Establish menazhirane and develop their own brands – IZZI, Clio variety Incom and potassium;

• Investing in renewable energy sources;

• Investments in real estate;

• Financial – Accounting services;

• and more.;

All are part of a large holding company, if necessary allows for fast and flexible reallocation of resources and support fresh equity activity experienced momentary need.

Philosophy that preaches Mr. Ivanov is the most valuable asset of any company, the people working in it and this is why its policy management is all about training and motivation. Since the acquisition of the “Global Food Company” Ltd, Damyan Ivanov invest in numerous in-house seminars with leading experts in the field as well as in international exhibitions, workshops and team building.
